Son of the late Alex & Prudy Lucido; Husband of Sandy Lucido; Father of Joe Jr., Alex (Rebecca),& Katie Espinoza (Byron); Grandfather of Nayalin, Leo, Colt, & Maxine; Brother of: Nick (Cindy), Noralisa Ferlito (Tony), & Alex (Teresa).
After retiring from Andrews Brothers Produce, Joe founded the Alzheimer's Research Assoc. in 2010 with the mission of empowering and educating Alzheimer's caregivers with the information, support, and services necessary to effectively and compassionately perform their jobs. ARA is a leading national non-profit organization focused on family members and others who dedicate themselves to the care of Alzheimer's patients. He was also a member of H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group).
