I first met Claire in gym/swim class in 9th grade. We became lifelong friends. She was my maid of honor and I was hers when we each got married. We had our first babies at the same time, just three weeks apart. Recently, we have both enjoyed being grandmothers. Before her homegoing to heaven last week, I always looked forward to her weekly cards or letters. We also phoned each other at least once a week. She was a vibrant follower of Jesus and had His love in her heart and in her smile. Claire's precious friendship has been one of God's greatest gifts to me. To my dear friend Claire I could truly say, "I thank my God upon every remembrance of you." - Philippians 1:3
