During my early years and well into High School I had almost zero guidance or role models. So I was not what you would call a model student (the opposite actually).
Senior year I met my future wife and not coincidentally, started to slowly figure life out. I graduated from Wayne State with a degree in Marketing in 1979. Became a Buyer for Farmer Jack Supermarkets then for Kroger before starting my own wholesale food business. Along the way my wife Debbie (now a retired school teacher) and I had 3 beautiful girls who are all successful and out on their own now.
In 2013 we built a new home on the St. Clair river in Clay township, MI. We moved there from our home of 29 years in St Clair Shores, MI. We raised our kids in SCS, met some wonderful people along the way there but we love life on the river. It's a life long dream come true for me.
