Awww. I'm so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. I had a chance to catch up with him at the reunion pre-party and was struck by what a warm and uplifting guy he was. I too am praying for his dear family.

I am so sorry to hear about Steve.  I saw him at our 40th class reunion.  I will remember how he became lieutenant in fire dept and worked to save lives.  What a brave and courageous man looking out for the welfare of others.  It is sad to lose a classmate.  My heart and prayers go up for his wife, son, brother and all his extended family and friends who will miss him.

Sincerely,

Sue Ellis Rice

Alfes was a great guy!  Always competing with me @ Dodgeball at Pcell's, we were the last ones to shoot it out with Mr. Minor.  Indeed he was a fantastic person.  I spoke to him about the 40th Reunion...

I knew Steve since Kindergarten.  He always had a smile on his face.  As far as I can remember he came to all of our reunions.  I bumped into Steve and his son years ago at Krogers.  His son was wearing Steve's letter jacket.  How cool is that!  Steve, you'll be missed.
