Hello Class of 1973 Alumni,
What a fabulous Reunion! Fun was had by all. I have received many texts, phone calls and emails saying how much everyone enjoyed the event. Thank you!
I also had many questions on when photos will be posted. I took almost 300 pics. It will take a few days to sort and post. Please be patient. I'll send out an email when I post them.
Our Thank You LIst:
- Dan Lenahan for sponsoring the reunion at the Country Club of Detroit. It was a beautiful venue inside and out. We had perfect weather that allowed use of the outdoor Terrace with lovely views of the golf course and surronding area. Thanks Dan!
- All the generous people who made donations. See the list of names on the separate tab. We could not have provided food at WaterMark and the large variety of food items at the Country Club without their assistance.
- Chuck DeMars and Greg DeMars for donating the mugs that commemorated the event.
- Kathy Jevons for making both the Memorial Display and the balloon arch. She also designed the table top centerpieces.
- Kathy Jevons, Carol Larson-Marino, and Lynne Colson for their help with setting up the centerpieces. The yellow roses were a nice touch!
- Sandy Shortt for designing the name tags and setting up the Welcome table. She is the webmaster here and on Facebook. She printed the Mason Elementary School class photos that many people enjoyed. I've been asked to post those too. I will.
- GPN Coach Joe Drouin for hosting an informative one hour Team Preview that was enjoyed by former players from our class.
- Jim Colson for organizing the Golf Scramble.
- Cindy Shortt Gohlke ('72), Chris Hull ('72) and Mike Karry ('72) for manning the Welcome table with the name tags.
- Former teacher Nancy Smith (Johnson) who traveled from Seattle to be with us.
- Bryan Lane - Treasurer.
- Jim Colson - Project Leader.
On behalf of the entire Reunion Committee we want to thank everyone for coming and enjoying a wonderful evening.
Sandy Shortt
